Palatine Construction directors, Ciaran Corrigan and John Rice have a combined construction background of over 75 years. Ciaran and John's experience is highly valued in the industry.
Before starting Palatine Construction, they gained their proficiency working for large NZ construction and construction consultancy companies.
John formed Palatine in 2003 focusing on consultancy projects. Ciaran became a partner and director in 2016 and they now focus on providing bespoke hands on construction services.
Palatine has in a short period of time managed to build an impressive consultant, supplier, labour and subcontract base. The team like approach offers a seamless project delivery.
Director - Ciaran Corrigan
Ciaran’s broad experience includes more than 35 years in New Zealand in various roles from quantity surveying, estimating, project management and general management.
Many of the contracts he has worked on have been design and build and his knowledge of the industry has assisted clients in achieving reduced costs and time. His work experience includes housing, apartments, HNZ projects, tunnels, polytechnic campus, dairy factories, civic buildings, schools, data centres and defective building remediation.
On a day to day basis Ciaran will provide the overall project management and co-ordination of the construction to ensure the programme is achieve and the quality and safety requirements are met.
Director - John Rice
John qualified as a Quantity Surveyor in the early nineties and has successfully run a construction and consultancy business previously.
He has worked for a variety of organisations including a year in Papua New Guinea since qualifying and over recent years John has been providing quantity surveying consultancy advice including cost planning, tendering and quantity surveying to Z Energy and private individuals/architects on a variety of projects.
Many of the contracts he has worked on have been design and build and his knowledge of the industry has assisted clients in achieving reduced costs and time.
His work experience includes apartments, Vector tunnel, Cinema restoration, Civil works, warehouses, schools, leaky buildings, data centres and power plants.
John will provide the overall commercial and administration support for the projects including estimating, cost planning, quantity surveying and accounting functions.
