Initial project was to refit the interior by demolition of existing retail layout and providing a base build shell, including new aluminium joinery for much of the building and new and refurbished toilets. The works increased to include a complete re-roof and new terrazzite flooring throughout. During works it became apparent that seismic strengthening was required in some areas along with replacement of rusted steel members in the roof system. The base build was extended to include some base tenancy layouts and common food court works.
