Metlife required a new lift to replace an older unit on opposite end of building. The location of the new lift required services to be relocated including fire panel, stormwater drains. Once excavation commence a myriad of unmarked services was uncovered which also required relocation. Concrete piles were poured to receive the new lift pit and support structure for level 1 landing.
Works were almost finished when interupted because of COVID pandemic and when recommenced required an impervious barrier to reduce infection spread.
Other works associated included widening the driveway to allow sufficient width for traffic once lift shaft erected and new LED stair lighting.
